Joseph Ebuya wins Alcobendas Cross Country
Alcobendas, 5th December 2010 – World Cross Country Champion Joseph Ebuya (KEN) confirmed his position as the top cross country runner in the world in 2010 with an excellent victory in the 29th Internacional Cross de la Constitution in Alcobendas outside Madrid. After victories in the Great South Run, Dunkirk Cross Country and Soria Cross Country the 23 year old made sure there would be no repeat of the Atapuerca Cross Country where he was beaten by World Cross Country runner-up Medhin (ERI). This time Ebuya made his intentions clear from early in the race, gradually winding up the pace until he dropped all challenges. Ebuya crossed the line unchallenged with Medhin 2nd and Kidane Tadesse 3rd.
